Our organization uses technology to identify at-risk individuals and provides immediate support through various intervention methods. Hello! I established this organization with a clear message: to reduce suicide among social media users through proactive methods. After experiencing firsthand the struggles associated with mental health and recognizing the lack of accessible, immediate intervention options, I was motivated to create a platform that blends technology with compassion.
Through SuicideGuard, I have committed to using innovative technology to help identify at-risk individuals, connect them with supportive resources, and work toward creating a world where mental health struggles are addressed with the seriousness they deserve.
Our Vision
The long-term goal of SuicideGuard is to create a world where mental health struggles are openly acknowledged and addressed, with accessible, proactive support available to everyone. We aim to reduce the incidence of suicide, especially among teenagers, by using innovative technologies to identify at-risk individuals early and connect them with the resources they need. Through awareness, education, and support, we envision a future where no one feels alone in their journey.
SuicideGuard will continue to evolve by expanding our reach, improving our technology, and forging partnerships with schools, mental health professionals, and tech companies. We are committed to creating a robust platform that combines real-time intervention with ongoing support. As mental health issues grow in complexity, SuicideGuard will stay at the forefront of the movement to provide timely, accessible care and build a community of support for those in need.

Detection Algorithm
Fully Finished Algorithm!
We are excited to announce that we have a fully finished detection algorithm! This algorithm is able to identify potentially suicidal people based on what they have posted on social media. It will also connect them with mental health organizations. To read more about this, go to Technology in the Resources tab.
